Terms of Service
Last updated: December 12, 2025
These terms govern the use of services provided by Business IT Disposal ("Company"). By requesting a collection, you ("Client") agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Company provides IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services, including the collection, secure data destruction, and value recovery or recycling of redundant IT equipment ("Assets").
2. Collections
Free collections are offered for qualifying quantities of business assets. The Company reserves the right to determine if a collection qualifies as free. The Client must ensure that all Assets are ready for collection at the agreed time and location.
3. Title and Risk
Legal title and ownership of the Assets transfer to the Company upon collection. The risk of loss or damage remains with the Client until the Assets are loaded onto our vehicle.
4. Data Destruction
The Company will perform secure data destruction on all data-bearing devices. A Certificate of Data Destruction will be issued upon completion as proof of erasure.
5. Value Recovery and Rebates
The Company will assess all collected Assets for potential resale value. For any items that are successfully remarketed, the Client is entitled to a rebate of 25% of the net revenue. "Net revenue" is defined as the final sale price minus any direct costs associated with the sale (e.g., marketplace fees, shipping, minor repairs). There is no rebate for Assets with no resale value.
6. Client Warranties
The Client warrants that they have the legal right and authority to dispose of all Assets provided to the Company.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Company's liability in connection with the service shall be limited to the market value of the physical Assets. We are not liable for any loss of data or consequential loss, as it is the Client's responsibility to ensure data is backed up before collection.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
